Throughout the year wayraparattee Child and Family Centre in Geeveston runs Indigenous programs such as Stories through Art, NAIDOC celebrations and other various cultural activities.
Out on Country is specifically designed so families have access to Indigenous culture. This program is open to all families. We will be exploring traditional ways such as weaving, painting, bush tucker and music.
wayraparattee Child and Family Centre celebrates Aboriginal culture and heritage. wayraparattee is the local Aboriginal word for ‘forest ground’.
